We are a collaborative ethical platform celebrating India' s rich heritage of handlooms, arts & crafts.

Founded with a deep love for Indian craftsmanship, Swranyam was created to celebrate tradition while making it accessible to a global audience. We are driven by a passion for thoughtfully designed apparel, jewelry, accessories, arts, décor, and handcrafted essentials that carry meaning beyond trends. At Swranyam, we believe good design tells a story. Our work is inspired by India’s diverse cultural heritage and the skilled hands that bring it to life. We collaborate closely with artisans, weavers, and small entrepreneurs across India to curate unique collections, support livelihoods, and help preserve lesser-known crafts.The name Swranyam finds its roots in Sanskrit, where “Swra” represents the self and “Nyam” signifies a marketplace. Together, it reflects our vision of creating one’s own marketplace, a space built on authenticity, trust, and connection. The word also echoes abundance and prosperity, symbolizing our goal of building a self-sustaining ecosystem for craftsmanship.

We understand the growing desire among customers, especially those living outside India, to stay connected to their roots while embracing modern sensibilities. We also believe that owning beautiful, high-quality handcrafted pieces should feel attainable and meaningful.More than a brand, Swranyam is a shop with a purpose. About Our Founder

Namaskaram, 

I am Lavanya Laxmee, the brain and soul behind Swranyam.

Launching Swranyam wasn't an immediate thought, it took me an entire year after the initial idea. I was genuinely interested and wanted to learn about our crafts before I took the big leap. So, I resigned my job in finance IT and spent that year travelling to the nook and corner of Indian villages to discover these fascinating wonders.This helped me understand the different weaving regions and traditions of India – Kanjivarams, Gadwals, Paithanis, Patolas and Pochampally Ikkats, Banarasis, and the beautiful cocktail drapes from Kolkata and other regions. The different jewellery manufacturing techniques across India and every state in our diverse country has a unique art and craft owing to its people and culture.That learning gave me the clarity and confidence to curate these master art pieces with a purpose – pieces that felt genuine, well-chosen, and worthy of your trust.

What the world doesn’t see are the hours spent behind each product – the studying of techniques, the late-night video calls with craftsmen, the eliminating of unnecessary middlemen, the endless verification to ensure authenticity. I say “no” to countless pieces so that I can say “yes” only to the product I truly believe in.If I won’t wear/use it myself, it simply doesn’t become a Swranyam product. It goes as simple as that.

My principle, from day one, remains the same – transparent pricing at Swranyam. The value of the craft does not change based on a postal code. Honesty and transparency are our foundation.

And then came the most beautiful part of this journey – our Maha Lakshmis’. Women who didn’t just shop – they stayed, returned, shared pictures, stories, milestones, memories, festivals, and firsts. They trusted me for their baby showers, weddings, poojas, housewarmings, and intimate celebrations.They are the heartbeat of this brand.

Today, Swranyam is registered in both the USA and India, serving clients worldwide – but its heart remains the same safe, loving space born from passion and built by the people who believed in me.

As we grow day by day, my intention remains unchanged – to bring you art pieces with a soul,story and sincere effort so that they will become part of your life, your memories, your identity – just as they became a part of mine.

Our Operation Process:

STEP 1 : DISCOVERY 

We find and encourage artisans to partner with 'SWRANYAM' and join us to share their legacy to the world.

STEP 2: PURCHASE & RECEIVE 

Our dynamic team coordinates with partner artisans and places orders for their products with immediate payments processed, allowing them time to do their best work. Upon arrival products received here undergo stringent quality check measures.

STEP 3 : PHOTO AND VIDEO

HERE each product is shot by our talented photography team. Handling with care they shoot each product to showcase and represent them the best.

STEP 4 : INVENTORY & WAREHOUSING

ITEMS  are Packaged , SKU codes written and packed and ready to be shipped to our warehouses. All our inventory is stored at our Hyderabad processing unit or shipped to our domestic CHARLOTTE NC USA unit.

STEP 5 : ORDER PROCESSING

After we receive the love letter email from our craft lover we start our thorough quality check once again before packing it.

PACKAGING: All our products are placed in a special storage bag which has the SWRANYAM label printed on top, carefully wrapped in paper & placed in a box to ensure safe delivery.

STEP 6: CUSTOMER CALL

Once an order is delivered we will contact you if you are happy about the product and receive your feedback. Very valuable for us to grow and hence open to all critics.
