At Swranyam, we take great care in ensuring that every product reaches you in perfect condition, Many of our pieces are handcrafted, limited, and curated individually. 

We request that you read this policy carefully before placing an order.
However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our refund and cancellation policy below.

Order Cancellations
We do not accept cancellations once an order has been placed.
This includes orders that are:

  • in processing
  • ready to ship
  • under blouse stitching or finishing

Please ensure all queries regarding colour, weave, fabric, blouse options, and measurements are clarified before placing your order.

Returns & Exchanges (India & USA)

We encourage customers to ask all questions and request additional photos or videos before purchasing, as our products are artisanal and often limited-run pieces.

We do not offer returns or exchanges for:

Examples of the issues that are not considered as a defect

1. A small blotch or a little patch or puddle of colors, might have you worried. Hand-crafted fabrics will have a little blotch some times it is expected from weaving. 'All hand crafted pieces are made with love, skill and hard work 'Remember the canvas of an artist, it is not always perfect for every eye, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.' It is how you visualize it.

2. There could be very small knots / bumps in weaving that can sometimes occur when threads are broken and need to be tied again in the loom.

3. Some uneven and loose thread crafts like Bandhej that connect the body of a saree to its beautiful pallu.

4. We take utmost care while taking pictures of our products. Certain times shades displayed across the different kinds of fabrics and accessories may slightly vary from the actual color. This most likely could happen due to different settings in the monitor or device like Laptop, 
Mobile OR Tablet.
Even photos in different brands of similar devices might look different.

5. We request you to consider these minor color variations Minute gaps in and around motifs. Small black marks that are markers for handloom weavers to mark the progress of the weaving.

Returns Policy for custom orders:
In cases where the customer has decided to make alterations to the original piece like size alteration / stitching a blouse, we will not be able to take a return for that item. But we will make sure that we do everything to help you out. We stand by our promise. Please email us at swranyam [!at] gmail.com and we will be more than happy to help you.

Returns Policy for SALE items
The items that are on "SALE"(in the "SALE" category) cannot be RETURNED or EXCHANGED. The sale of these items are Final and no exceptions will be made.

Refunds will be processed only under the following conditions:

  • The product is defective or damaged upon arrival, or
  • A return request is initiated within 48 hours of receiving the product
  • order details
  • a brief description of the issue
  • a clear, unedited Unboxing Video with Requirements

The video must be continuous, without cuts or pause clearly showing the sealed package being opened and the shipping address label in the first frame.Upon validation, we may offer one of the following, at our discretion:

  • an exchange for the same or a similar product
  • store credit
  • a refund

To initiate a return, please email us at care@swranyam.com within the specified timeframe. Once approved, the product must be shipped back to us within 7 working days of return confirmation.

Returned products must be in their original condition, with original folds, tags, and packaging intact. Products returned in altered folds, without tags, or in a used or damaged condition will not be eligible for a full refund.

Returned items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags intact.

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you via email regarding approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, refund initiation will begin within 1–2 business days of receipt. The refund will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout.

A 5% service charge will be deducted for returns without any product defect.

Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items:

The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund unless received in a damaged or defective condition:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Digital downloads
  • Perishable goods (such as food or flowers)
  • Intimate items (for hygiene reasons)
  • Items purchased during sale or clearance
  • Petticoats

Additional Information

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • If the item is not returned in its original condition, the customer will be responsible for any loss in value.
  • Customs duties, taxes, and return charges for international orders must be borne by the customer.
  • Exchanges or store credits will be issued only after the returned product is received and approved.

Returns & Exchanges (International Orders apart from USA)

Due to international logistics, customs processes, and handling risks, we do not accept returns or exchanges for international orders. We are not responsible for damage caused by courier mishandling once the shipment has been delivered to the carrier, except where required by law.

Shipping Issues, Customs & Returned Packages

Lost or Missing Packages

If a shipment is marked as lost or missing by the courier, we will initiate an investigation with the carrier. Refunds or replacements, if applicable, will be processed only after the courier has officially confirmed the package as lost. Investigation timelines are determined by the carrier and may take several business days.

Customs Duties, Taxes & Refused Deliveries

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product or shipping price unless explicitly stated.

If a customer refuses delivery or requests a return due to customs duties or taxes:

The order will not be eligible for a full refund. Original shipping charges, return shipping, customs fees, and carrier handling charges will be deducted

If the package is abandoned or destroyed by customs, no refund will be issued

Returned or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is returned to us due to refusal, incorrect address, non-clearance by customs, or failed delivery attempts:

refunds, if any, will be issued only after the product is received and inspected,shipping, customs, and carrier charges are non-refundable and refunds may be reduced or denied if the item is damaged, altered, or not returned in original condition

Return Policy Rights

Swranyam reserves the right to approve, reject, or limit returns, exchanges, or refunds that do not meet the conditions outlined above.

The original invoice must be produced at the time of request for exchange.The Company reserves the right to decide if the product is in the condition for exchange and such decision of the Company shall be final and binding.

All Jewellery/Discounted/ Sale/Bargained/Custom made/ Serviced products/ made to order/finished product(s) cannot be exchanged. It includes stitching, alterations, fall, finishing etc. For details on our return and Exchange policy, please refer to the Cancellation and Refund Policy on our website.

Claims for damage, defect, or incorrect items will not be accepted without a clear, unedited unboxing video as specified in this policy.
